Hindi News-Paper changing News Industry a Big Way!

Newspaper, the biggest and oldest form of the conventional media has been worried about its future; thus, see Web a major cause for panic.

Advertisers are rushing to the Internet. Readers, even of the best newspapers are ditching print, and adopting the online method to get news.  Also, Hindi e-papers have worsened the situation because earlier the entire set of readers look up to Hindi newspapers to read news can now find easy to download Hindi e-papers from web instead to waiting for the newspaper boy to deliver the latest print copy every day.

Hindi e-papers are no different than the printed copies that include the well illustrated daily News, Sports News, Cricket News, India City news and other Local news of various regions of the country.

Internet is really a big this today. People process loads of information on the web every day, and the scenario affects the existence of newspapers in India. Online news is convenient to read and can be accessed anytime, anywhere, while being at the comfort of your home, during office hours or while in the car.

From business perspectives too, printed publications are losing its essence with each passing day. A Larger percentage of readers scroll through web pages to read latest news, while others access to News via high-end Smartphone, tablets etc. Fewer people buy printed copies today and this has very little to do with advertisement or business models.

In the past few months, the traditional audiences of the newspaper shrunk, Newsrooms were dilapidated by bloggers, and print copies were replaced by the e-papers.  The latest study states that Daily editions lost 1.2 million readers in the six months that ended in March, down to 45.5 million. Online news readership grew to 56 million.

Besides newspapers, Television, radio are doing pretty good but not more than internet.  Indian consists of 30 % of the rural area. People here prefer reading news online or through e-papers while the other 70% of the urban population still rely on televisions, radios and most importability newspapers. Each mass media has its own importance in the society and come with its own added benefits.

There is no denying with the fact that news industry is changing a big way with the advent of internet in the Indian society, but, Newspaper being the older mass media have its own set of loyal audience who would never stop reading print copies.
